Job Description: |
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant – Accounts to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day Record Keeping and data entry.
Prepare and maintain financial documents such as invoices, bills, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing processes.
Support the preparation of financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in preparing tax returns and filing GST/TDS (if applicable).
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both electronic and physical.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for payment follow-ups and clarifications.
Support internal and external audits as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Experience with accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
