• Ensure that monthly invoices are sent to customers on time.
• Ensure all recordkeeping relating to customers is up-to-date and complete.  
• Maintain a close liaison and co-ordination with the sales department in relation to invoicing and receivable follow ups.
• Proactively manage the outstanding receivables. Follow up on receivables in accordance with the company policy. Ensure amounts are received within the due date.
• Re-negotiate repayment plans where necessary.
• Maintain a good co-ordination with customers. Handling all customer queries on invoicing and receivables. Ensure regular balance reconciliations are carried out. 
• Ensure the sales and receivables ledgers are up to date and accurate at all times. 
• Ensure compliance with all sales tax and income tax provisions (at the time of invoicing as well as collection – ensuring all advance tax challans are collected from customers).
• Check customer’s credit ratings with credit standards.
• Setting up the terms and conditions of the customer credit by customer analysis.
• Ensure customers credit terms, recovery plans, and recovery reports.
• Compliance and directing all aspects of billing functions of the organization.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' of experience as Manager Billing and Credit Control Department of a reputable company;
• Candidate must have handled Invoicing, credit control and recovery of hundreds of customers and have the ability to perform complex reconciliations;
• Candidate should have sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Accountancy software;
• Candidate should possess the ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues;
• Candidate should be professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others;
• Candidate should have excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
