Job Description: |
- Liaising with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations;
- Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
- Collating and analyzing media coverage
- Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programes;
- Devising and coordinating photo opportunities for media;
- Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;
- Maintaining and updating information on the organization’s website;
- Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook;
- Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities;
- Commissioning market research;
- Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives;
- Create new ideas, concepts, and promotions for Green Spire Group that increase brand recognition and integrity.
- Research and report marketing strategies
QUALIFICATIONS & Required Skills:
- BBA/BS/MBA/MS degree required; major in Strategic Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in communications and marketing.
- Strong Media engagement skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in creating and implementing strategic communication plan.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with individuals across all organizational levels.
- Represent the organization in a professional manner at all times.
- Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to the goals, values, and mission of the organization.
- Understanding of corporate practices and culture preferred.
- Understanding of nonprofit practices and culture preferred.
