Job Description:

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Ø  To participate in the rounds carried out in the different hospital units: maternity department and IPD

Ø  To carry out certain consultations and practicing delicate technical acts if necessary/outside the scope of practice for the general doctor

Ø  To check that medical protocols and prescriptions are followed by the health care personnel in accordance with MSF guidelines

Ø  In collaboration with midwife to ensure the quality of obstetrical care in Maternity department

Ø  To carry out elective and emergency surgical interventions in accordance with MSF protocols

Ø  To carry out the patients’ pre-operative consultations before they undergo surgery

Ø  To carry joint rounds in the IPD in collaboration with the anaesthetist.

To guarantee the application of MSF protocols (ATB, dressing protocols, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CONDITIONS:

Ø  MCPS (Gynaecology) or Diploma of Gynaecology, PMDC registered

Ø  Previous experience as a Gynaecologist is required

Ø  Fluent in English, Pashto and Urdu

Ø  Good clinical skills, Teamwork, Flexibility, Patience, Diplomatic communication, Commitment, Reporting skills, Stress management and the rational use of medicines.

 


Required Skills:
MCPS Gynaecology or diploma of gynaecology. PMDC required,Previous experience as a Gynaecoloist required
