Job purpose

Responsible for planning, preparing and providing well-organized lectures to the students of IT – Computer Operator trade. Design and execute effective training sessions & material for the students which includes development of lesson plans, lectures, notes/handouts, periodic tests, quizzes, assignments and results. To give subject knowledge to the students and familiarize them with basics of I.T (Windows, Hardware, Software, Email, Internet browsing.

Job Description:

• Develop and teach educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
• Develop and teach a curriculum that addresses course objectives
• Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment
• Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that involve students in challenging learning opportunities;
• Provide feedback to students that will enhance their academic growth;
• Monitor and report student attendance;
• Refer to the supervisor those students not making adequate progress;
• Attend faculty meetings to formatively evaluate student progress and determine improvement strategies for students;
• Complete summative evaluations highlighting students’ strengths and needs;
• Staying up-to-date on trends and changes in the industry/field through personal research as well as attending seminars, conferences, etc.

•  Ability to troubleshoot basic computer and software problems.
• Ability to work with a variety of software applications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to teach and clear student’s concepts.
• Knowledge of basic programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of network systems and computer security.
• Creative and open to new ideas, adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
