Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present seasonal Mood & Trend Boards, in line with brand direction and target consumer


• Ideate and present direction for denim washes and shades, new fits and new styles, colour card, prints, details, techniques


• Give input for the research and development of new fabrics and trims, considerate of target costs


• Manage daily design follow-up activities needed for product development


• Work according to line plan and meet PD calendar deadlines


• Attend and participate in fittings


• Prepare and manage proto reviews, wash reviews, collection presentations partnering with Merchandising


• Develop tools for line presentations


• Document and preserve all illustrations, detailed layouts, design works and sheets for future references


• Research trends and present new ideas by online research, competitive shopping, attending trade shows, meeting with vendors, etc.

Skills & Qualification: 

• Must understand denim fabrications, washes and denim development.


• Must understand construction of denim 5 pockets, shirt and jackets and denim related fashion products.


• Understanding and knowledge of Denim’s market


• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop


• Must be experienced in tech packs, BOM’s, PLM and/or Full Circle processing of tech packs.


• Must have talent in sketching ideas either by hand or illustrator and must be proficient and accurate in technical sketching.


• Good communication skills, ability to work by deadlines and processes, team player
